About Us:

We are a public works civil engineering consulting engineering firm. We are well established, in business for 38 years in downtown Vancouver, with clients in both the Portland metropolitan and Southwest Washington areas. We focus on design and construction engineering projects for local cities, counties, and utility districts.

We define our engineering as Seriously Civil, which we define as “of or about the safety, health, and welfare of our community”. As engineers, we look beyond the purely functional aspects of our design to the broader impacts upon the public, and the affordability and livability of the built landscape which our projects shape and sustain.

We believe in hiring quality people and keeping them. We have a long history of helping our staff grow and thrive. We’re not a corporate work mill, and we’re not a publicly-traded profit-hungry conglomerate. We offer a commitment to a positive work/life balance for all of our employees, and want to maintain our strong team environment. Our salaries are competitive, and our benefits package includes medical/dental benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, Flexible Spending Accounts, paid volunteering time, and fitness subsidies.
