When Alf isn’t inspecting, he collects old hubcaps.

Mother of an Oregon State graduate.  When not tackling the accounting deadlines, she will be on her boat (weather permitting) or on a pursuit for the newest culinary restaurant to try.  An avid Red Rocker for Sammy Hagar!

Allen hails from the Northeast, where the winters are bleak and the summers are swampy. When not enjoying the temperate Northwest weather, Allen enjoys hiking trips or tinkering with his collection of keyboards and synthesizers.

Aurora was born and raised in the PNW and spends most of her time outside work either snowboarding or backpacking/hiking depending on the weather. Aurora has a 1 year old pup named Margo, who has her own backpack now for hiking/camping, and two cats Nibs and Beans.

Big Ben, the BBQ king, hails from Louisiana. He has been BBQing longer than he has been a construction inspector and Wallis Engineering values his extensive knowledge of both. He always greets you with a huge smile and if you’re lucky, some of his out of this world BBQ.

Mother of a turtle and all things green, her interests range from exploring secluded viewpoints and sightseeing to saving the galaxy from invaders on her computer.

Chad walks to work everyday and is our champion green commuter. He enjoys going garage sale hunting and has an uncanny knack for finding the best treasures.

When Dave isn’t rollin’ with his homies he is loving all things ultimate frisbee. He travels near and far for tournaments and is always up for a lunchtime game.

Deirdre and her husband are Oregon State University graduates that enjoy family, gardening and outdoor activities. If not remodeling something, Deirdre is likely to be reading, knitting or pursuing another perfect beach sunset photo.

Erin is an avid/rabid fan and collector of everything Wonder Woman. She can be found spending her off time on her back porch reading a good book, especially while it is raining.

Felise’s family is new to the PNW, having moved up from the high desert during the pandemic for a change of scenery.  Her true passion is horses. She’s been riding and competing in Hunter/Jumpers for over 35 years.  When not riding or at the barn she, enjoys spending time with her family and running.

When Gill is not putting technical documents together or writing proposals, you’ll probably find her knitting.

Jack recently finished up his Master’s degree at Montana State University, where he was lucky enough to be able to pursue his passions for wastewater treatment, skiing and climbing (sometimes all in the same day!) Now back designing wastewater infrastructure, Jack enjoys biking to work and getting out to go climbing or skiing on the weekends.

Jacob started with Wallis Engineering in 2015 after graduating from Oregon State University. Jacob spends his free time cycling, hiking, walking his dog Gibbs, and building or fixing anything he can get his hands on.

James  is a strict minimalist. In fact, there is only one material possession he would desire – a skateable, left-hand kidney bean swimming pool. And the pool would hold a ’62 SD Catalina, a good stereo and a well-curated record collection, tools, pinball machines, and some cool furniture – perhaps a speaker chair.

Jane is passionate about promoting civil engineering as a career path, especially for non-traditional engineers. She is just as likely to talk to you about low-bid contract law as botany. Jane splits her recreational time between backpacking in the summer with her kids, and baking in the winter.

A native Oregonian, Jason enjoys snowboarding, riding motorcycles, and taking in the great outdoors with his son Eli, fiancée Hailey, and dog Skyler. When he isn’t enjoying the great outdoors, you can catch him playing video games and enjoying a wide range of musical genres.

Jenny is passionate about connecting with the team and helping them expand their professional possibilities. When not working, Jenny enjoys spending time and exploring the world with her husband, son, and two dogs.

When Jim isn’t building something, he enjoys boating or biking with his family. His favorite day is cruising on the Columbia River or riding the Twin Tunnels with his family.

In her spare time Karla enjoys bowling, retail therapy, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Lori enjoys puzzles, music and spending time with her family.  She also loves her yearly vacation to the Oregon coast with extended family.

Natalie is passionate about the outdoors and scheming about new places to backpack every summer. In her free time, she designs and publishes knitting patterns. You will often find her wearing her knitwear or working on a design while in the backcountry.  Her words of wisdom about exploring the outdoors are “never piss off a grouse”.

Ryan loves to spend time adventuring with his partner Brooklyn and their two pups, Gunner and Haku. He has recently taken up tending an apple orchard and honing his lumberjack skills.

In her free time, Sara enjoys outings with her family and reading. She has participated in multiple half marathons and Hood to Coast relays. She still hasn’t decided whether she loves or hates running.

When Tomalynn is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to travel, and especially loves camping at the coast.

An Arizona native, Tyler relishes warm, sunny days and all outdoor activities that accompany them. He enjoys fishing, rafting, swimming, and anything else that allows him to be on the water

When not in the office you can find Wes spending time with his family, playing soccer and/or planning his next hunting adventure.  When he is in the office, he enjoys engaging in engineering projects… and pulling the occasional prank on his co-workers.

We want to acknowledge here the passing of Mike Conway, in the fall of 2019. He is sorely missed. Mike worked for us since 2007, and had over 40 years of experience working in project management and design for us and other engineering firms. Although not a licensed engineer, he was a force of nature and problem solver. For 16 years, Mike served as the City of Washougal’s Public Works Director. In this position he ensured that infrastructure was in place for the future, during one of the largest growth spurts in the City’s history.
