Healthy Living Incentives

No-Car Commuting: We encourage employees to commute to work without an individual car as much as possible.  Employees who bike, carpool, ride the bus or find other creative means of commuting receive monthly cash bonuses.  No-car commuters are also eligible for a quarterly prize drawing.

BTA Challenge: Every September the Bicycle Transportation Alliance sponsors the Bike Commute Challenge among Portland-area businesses.  Wallis Engineering has been participating since the Challenge’s inception in 2004 and encourages everyone to commute to work by bike during the month of the challenge.  We reward participants with prizes and awards for their hard work.

Zipcar Membership: To support our no-car commute policy, we provide all employees with the option to use Zipcar.  We are one of over 500 local businesses using Zipcar as a flexible way to attend work-related meetings and run errands.
