The pedestrian tunnel under SR 14 in Washougal, WA, is complete and open to the public, providing a direct link between downtown and the Columbia River waterfront. The 115-foot long tunnel was constructed from 15 pre-cast concrete sections, each weighing nearly 19 tons. For more details, please see the project description and a recent article in The Columbian.
Construction photos are on our flickr site as well.
