Entry Level Civil / Environmental Design Engineer

We’re looking for an entry level civil design engineer with a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering to join our team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training certification
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and MS Project
  • Enjoy working collaboratively, as part of a team
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in the technical aspects of civil engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Your Role:

As a junior engineer, you’ll be part of a collaborative design team planning and designing transportation and utility public works infrastructure. You’ll work with more experienced engineers and technical staff who are passionate about mentoring and professional development. We will work closely with you to identify your specific interests, your skills, and the best way to apply your strengths and weaknesses to civil engineering design. You’ll be given the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with a gradation of role.  Ultimately, you will be able to lead design and manage your own projects.

Experienced Civil Project Engineer

Wallis Engineering is seeking a licensed civil project engineer with strong team working skills. This position is to provide consulting services for municipal infrastructure which may include water/wastewater or transportation focus. Roles may include serving as lead design engineer or staff engineer depending on the project.  In addition, marketing tasks may involve assisting with the writing of proposals, assisting/attending client presentations, and meeting with potential clients with or without the assistance of a senior engineer.

We seek a highly technical individual who will enjoy working on the planning, design, and construction engineering for public agency projects.  Minimum requirements for the position are a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.  Desired experience is 5-10 years. For more information, follow the link below:
